Failure of a tank during an earthquake can result in significant financial, human, and environmental losses. Thus, their lack resiliency against strong earthquakes may refinery disruption. This has the potential to have considerable impact on any economic system. As result, more research into seismic performance structures is required attain highest possible level resistance earthquakes. In this paper, we aim look installation isolation systems cylindrical steel storage tanks. A nonlinear 3D finite element model developed with ANSYS software.
